Location Cost Meal Options 2. Food Vendors: Participants may buy food from our on-site food vendor. Sweet Monkey will be serving vegetarian, vegan, and omnivorous options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner burritos and wraps as well as coffee and tea. 3. Black Mountain/Asheville: Feel free to venture off-site to enjoy a meal in town. There are many restaraunts and grocery stores 10-20 minutes away. 4. Bring your own: Whether you are on a budget or just want to cook for yourself, feel free to bring your own food to the camp. We will not have refrigeration or ice available, so please prepare accordingly. You are welcome to use a camp stove outdoors. Minors 1. Infants/Toddlers (0-24 months): No charge but must be added to your registration and be in your care at all times. 2. Children (2-10 years): $85, includes meals, camping, and childcare available during workshop hours. 3. Young Women's Circle (girls 11-17): $165, includes meals, camping, and Young Women's Program. More information on Program page. Only infants under 24 months of age will be allowed with their mothers into the workshops. Please be considerate of other participants by planning to sit near the door and removing yourself and infant from classroom if your infant is causing a distraction. Children will not be allowed into workshops but will be welcome at the nighttime entertainment and opening and closing circles. Accommodation Options 2. Shared Indoor Lodging: Reserve a bed in a shared cabin/room. All prices are for 2 nights.
3. Private Indoor Lodging: Could be used for a group or individual seeking privacy. Only one person from a group reserves and pays for private lodging. You will be asked to choose a party name to identify yourselves upon check in.
4, Off-site: Local participants are welcome to go home to sleep. If you are coming from out of town and do not want to stay on-site, you can check into a local hotel or inn.To find lodging close by, visit www.blackmountain.org Ride Sharing For ride sharing, please check out our new and improved secure Electronic Rideboard. Add your posting to get in touch with women in your area. How to respond: Work Exchange We still have a few work exchange positions available..... we are extending the work exchange deadline from August 1st to September 1st. If you are interested in work exchange and have not yet signed up, do so now! We offer two work exchange programs: Hours begin on Wed (10/1) or Thurs (10/2) depending on your availability.
Work exchangers can expect to attend about 1/2 of all conference workshops
and activites. Potential tasks include set up/break down, registration,
parking, childcare, and kitchen crew.

Scholarships Thanks to contributions from private donors, we are pleased to offer both full and partial scholarship opportunities to help bring wonderful women to the conference who might not otherwise be able to attend! We prioritize those with financial need who are women of color, Native American women, women with physical limitations who are unable to do work exchange, young women under 17, and elders over 65. 1. Donate to Scholarships: We are expanding our scholarship program in 2008. For “Circle of Women” Donations of $500 to $5,000 (enabling 2 to 20 women to attend), we are now offering public recognition on our website and program, for you, your organization, or in memory of a loved one. To make your "Circle of Women" Donation, print or request a Donor Form (pdf format). In the registration check out process (as well as on the Donor Form, above ) there are also “One Woman” Donation opportunities, such as $48 to cover a discounted meal ticket for one woman, $120 for a Young Women’s Circle registrant, or $268 to cover one woman’s registration and meals. 2.
