Applying Ancient Chinese Wisdom to Modern Herbalism
-JulieAnn Nugent-Head

$9.00 each

Drawing from ancient Chinese texts, we will discuss the inherent strength of herbs: mild, moderate, or intense in effect; the qualities of herbs, such as flavor and nature; and their yin and yang qualities. This allows one to better understand how and where an herb will affect the body, and to choose the appropriate effect upon the body, whether it is warming, cooling, dispersing, gathering, solidifying, softening, in order to resolve symptoms and stop disease.

Running time ~ 1.5 hours. Closes with a few moments of Leah & Chloe of Rising Appalachia singing live at the women's conference.
